Demand Studios account?

Anyone who does not use their Demand Studios account interested in selling it? I have seen Assoc Content accounts on here for sale but not Demand Studios. You know I was writing with Demand before and they just let people go for not being mind readers. They don't do it right away, I worked about 6 mos. They have 5 word titles , no descriptions so you have to guess what they want which makes a need for rewrites. After so many rewrites you are dismissed with no warning. They are picky but I need the money and they don't let people reapply if they are let go, or denied as a writer from the beginning. Sucks! So anyone please, if you don't use it can you remove your personal info and sell it? Thanks

Wouldn't this be a bad idea when your SSN is attached to the account.

Wouldn't you have to pay taxes on income that you "allegedly" received.

Okay this is so insane.

For Those Selling Your Accounts:
Demand Studios requires that you have your ssn attached to the account for tax purposes. Whomever you sell your account to didn't get an account because the quality of their work didn't measure up or the country they are in isn't allowed to utilize it. They do indeed check IP addresses every once in a while so that is one way they'd ban the account and YOU would be responsible for all the money that came into the account. After the person whom purchases the account generates $600, Demand Media holds the right to verify with Paypal that the information they have on file matches with what they have on file so whomever is using the account's paypal will become limited or suspended ( their paypal) because it doesn't match the info you have on file. And once you past 10k the IRS becomes involved. So unless you want to owe the IRS, explain to paypal why they suspect fraudlent activity associated with your social and Demand Media and never be able to write for the company again by all means take that risk.


For Those Whom Are Look To Purchase :
If you were not able to get an account it was because the quality of your work didn't measure up to their standards. I would suggest utilizing the services of other content companies that pay as much as they do ( Gather.com, Knojii, etc) to get an account with your information. You could cause yourself to lose access to your own paypal because of it.
