Last week, Yahoo confirmed that they are altering their email filtering algorithm to place a higher weight on reader engagement. Gmail and Hotmail implemented similar changes recently, too.

This means that if your readers aren't opening your messages or clicking on your links, your emails could be routed out of the inbox and into the bulk mail folder. Yahoo delivery is declining across the board.

So, even when your email service provider is whitelisted (like MailerMailer), if your readers aren't responding to your messages, Yahoo's inbox is taking notice. They are looking at whether your email subscribers delete your messages without opening them. If they see this trend, zap - off you go!

surely then create 2000 hotmail accounts gmail account and yahoo accounts and create a program to automatically open the email and click on the link

Same here. I actually inquired about such a software not long ago.

no good im afraid as the big 3 thought of that and already "weight" accounts by usage over a long time (ie 3 yr old active accounts carry more weight than 1 month old with 1 message) so new accounts created for the purpose of tricking the filters carry very little weight and wouldnt help you ..............you have to remember that the big 3 hire mailers to consult for them too..........nice try though ;-)

@makingbank

So one needs to buy old accounts - big deal ;)
