Deleting Old Google News Articles

Looking for a little advice,
I bought an old dash Google News Approved website.
It has around 500 old articles (some just trashy things like celebrity net worth)
I know these sites are sensitive to changes and I dont want to get delisted from google news. Whats the best way to remove these articles (im posting crypto news so this old stuff is totally off topic)
Any advice appreciated!

If you remove the old content slowly, it will not delist the website from Google.

Thanks. Any idea on time frame and volume that you think would be safe? 5 a day or less?

You can use your Google Search Console to remove the indexed articles.

Instead of outright deleting them, start by deindexing the low-quality stuff using noindex tags

Use GSC to de index old content simple it will not affect your site.
