Hello everyone, thank you in advance for the attention. There is a guy that bought from my website, received what he bought and opened a Paypal dispute. After taking away the product from him, he left a negative review on my facebook page which is improductive, since I work with ads too.

Facebook doesn't let me remove the review of course, but I can report it. I was wondering if a mass report would resolve the problem, and what's the number of reports needed to achieve this. Thank you!

I think it depends.
You can contact with that guy. At the same time, contact to Facebook too.

OR you can take some positive reviews from your friends (grey hat).
It will create average reviews and ratings.

no man you cannot do that, the reviews increase the security in the e-commerce, exists for this porpuose

you need to work hard for positive reviews!!
I don't think people have to work hard for good reviews. All they should have to do to get a good review is fulfill their side of the agreement in a time frame and manner that they agreed to.

That's exactly what I'm doing, actually while exceeding expectations according to all my other customers, but this douchebag decided to piss me off and I have to do something about this.

157 reports to facebook give or take.

Is this real? Is it actually a fixed number that you have to reach? Well, in any case I don't have multiple accounts nor proxies so I would have to rely on someone else.

I already contacted the guy but it's a pretty unactive profile, contacting Facebook would be pretty useless I think, at least according to my past experience. For now I've only been taking real reviews, probably in the future I will have to change strategy because of this.

I Have gone through this before so let me give you all you options which are 3:

1. Report the review, there is no magical number for the mass reporting but it definitely helps and most likely they will remove the review, got a couple removed from just reporting it myself, being nice goes a long way
2. Contact the guy, seems he's an asshole but still give him a discount or something, negative reviews will affect your sales
3. BURY IT, get a bunch of your friends to leave you some reviews it will get buried and as long you have a good average rating above 4.5 nobody will bother to go through a bunch of reviews and if they do, and its just the one guy, they will think its a 1 in a million senairo

Hope this helps

Report the review and get some more positive reviews so that average ratings remains good. You can not estimate how many report needed to remove a negative review. It totally depends on Facebook if they would remove it or not.
