So I was sharing links to youtube chanenls that are under 90 days old but have already experienced explosive growth. This channels are hard to find and I spend a lot of my time to do it. Those who do youtube know it is valuable info. I was also sharing links to more detailed case studies in a form of video which i post on my channel

Here is an example of what I was doing

Now suddenly today another thread of mine gets deleted by mods with a reason "you are not allowed to promote your youtube channel here"

I just want to say as a person who has been 6 years on BHW that this place feels over restricted now. I know you are going to tell me I am wrong as thats what happens each and every time when I am having conversations with mods here. But I hope you at least will not punish me for this thread as this is a "feedback" forum.

What will happen is that I will simply keep posting my content on X and other platforms that are not constantly deleting my content.
As an old member I feel like BHW needs some fresh air.

You weren't sharing information here.
You could have embedded the videos in the thread.

Self-promotion that leads people away from BHW isn't good for the community.
Sharing quality information here will help build your reputation, and you can self-promote via your signature.

On the forum, we have issues with members both constantly & consistently attempting to circumvent the rules.

Whether that's by attempting to sell under the guise of posting 'guides', blatantly selling on the forum, or spam posting their way to 100 posts so they can sell.

The overall scope of the issue isn't something the general public gets to see, but the problem is real.

Unfortunately, that sometimes extends to those just trying to help with said help being available on their website or youtube channel.

But the rules are effective.

OP posted thread linking to his YT channel.
Tread got deleted.
Came here to complain.
Decided better of it and deleted the post.
Got it, That's free traffic out here lol.

I'm just scared to say openly how I feel here. Thats why deleted. Because I am scared my honest opinion will break some rule

I still believe I shared valuable info in the thread and I recommended to watch a video. I have not even embedded it. But yes I linked to a video related to the threads topic. I added value. I spent my time on the research. And I thought its ok to link to a related video of mine. Nvm...

This comment was directed to explain why I deleted your thread. One, I didn't give you a warning, which I usually would have. Two, you can post anything you wish as long as it follows the TOS. Third, have a great weekend. If you have any more questions and would like support to handle this, you can contact them, as we don't allow members to post their YT channels.

If you have further questions please visit our newbie guide summary here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...ter-list-of-all-newbie-guide-threads.1389081/

If that doesn’t answer your question, please reach out to our Support for further guidance.
