Delayed Ranking In Google...What Is Going On?

I am not sure what happened, but ever since around late Fall 2016, my Google rankings have been delayed.

What I mean by this is that I don't get ranked in Google for around 7 days or so on average. I don't know why this is because I used to be able to publish content and be ranked within minutes.

I currently have around 300 posts on the website I am talking about and many first page rankings. I do everything by the books and use legitimate SEO practices so I don't think it would be that Google is punishing my site, but I don't know of any other possibility.

Are there any SEO experts out there that could help me out??? Any thoughts??

Where is your domain coming from ? If it wasn't indexing, I'd bet my ass some spammer used it before. I just got a new site indexed, with a 50 words "hello world" post, as it was clean.

Google holds rankings for a few days/weeks when it isn't sure that your site gained links legitimately or gaming it.

Basically any site that isn't already in the top sites of the world will experience this, your legitimate SEO or following google's guidelines(bullshit) isn't going to change that.

Just wait for the rankings to go to their positions or build more links to make google think your site has authority.

dont worry. I sure YT had enough of the "game hack niche" dudes and put some filters up.

if your "new articles" section is visible from more pages then it could crawl the changes quicker

No need to worry. Getting indexed and appearing in the SERPs takes longer for almost everybody now. Just wait for it to happen.

How you guys measure all this stuff ? Delayed in ranking, crawling is slow etc. wtf
