Again, sorry for the clickbait. Trying to get everyone's attention who got affected by getting deindexed in Bing.

From what I can gather from all the people who complained about this on their forum, I think I've found a pattern.

It seems almost everyone who experienced problems had one of the following Wordpress themes:
- Astra
- GeneratePress
- Newspaper
- Some other variations of generatePress

If you got delisted from bing recently, what theme were you using?
What weird plugins did you have installed?

Trying to figure out a pattern.

I am using astra, didn't got deindexed on bing.
Infact theme deindexing don't make any sense.

I'm using GeneratePress, and I'm not deindexed. Here are my plugins:

My articles never index on bing. What can be the problem?

I don't think it was the cause, maybe indexation focus on contents and spam links

If you go to Site Explorer, and select URLs with Malware, do all of your links show up as malware?
Seems to be the case for me and other people as well.

I finally got a domain indexed and its stayed that way. I listed the business in bing maps with a virtual address.

Was it deindexed before? As in removed from the index?

This is what I see on a couple of my sites. For me, sites were indexed and after adding adsense urls are now listed with malware

Bing deindex may because of content and spam

astra theme also and I saw 3 different domains with this theme deindexed

I also saw over 10 domains with different themes that got deindexed so I don't think it's because of themes.

have been on generatepress for over 2 years, phastpress, wp-rocket, yoast, submitted to bing webmaster tool over 10 years.. never been deindexed. well, why am Iaying. I do not check my index status on bing!!!! i dont give a F about bing

all kidding aside: for that few times that I have checked over the last few years, I always see website in bing serp.

it is a business site. no ads, affiliate links.... pure business site.

Bing will deindex for high velocity backlinks and spammy anchor text ratios. I have seen them deindex LAWeekly 2 years ago on one of my parasite articles after I slammed it GSA blasts.

If backlinks or anchor ratio is not an issue, I would guess content quality if it is paraphrased/spun.

Bing isn't really on my radar much, so haven't done much testing outside of that.

^^ This

Be aggressive with your link building or do a significant 301 redirect and you will get fooked.

After it happens, you can still get indexed, by force indexing all your pages every day in their webmaster tools. However, you won't rank as well as before and lose around 50 - 90% traffic.

This little cuntish move still costs me at least $500 - $1000 a month on one of my sites that got deindexed.

And I really don't know if there's any possibility of recovery, unless they change their algo somehow.
