Deindexed by google wtf?

My site was ranking #5 for my keyword and now it is gone. Whole site Deindexed. But why??? I built high quality manual links, site was an EMD, age is around a month and a half.


What the hell???

I think a update or a refresh came out today. I'm seeing rankings jump all over the place for about 20-30 sites.

Your site is NOT de-indexed.

I've checked from several IP addresses.


You're backlink portfolio is pretty weak though...98% of all your links are no-follow...and from same TLD.

If you are using google webmaster tool, then you will have an alert in case your site is de-indexed.

I found out my site wasn't Deindexed. Just got negative SEO d and lost all my rankings..

Checked http://www.seoserp.com/web_tools/google_top_1000_serps_checker.asp and I'm not even in top 1000 anymore...

Could this just be a google dance?

I had the same problem today...also an EMD website. Hopefully it's just "Google dancing" and our sites will be back soon.

Also check out this video with Matt Cutts (uploaded on 4th March). There must've been a big spam/ cloaking update over the last week?

I have some experience with link pruning. Check out Link Research Tools, specifically the "Link Detox". Will give you a good idea of the bad actors in your link profile.

Yup, the same happened to few of my new sites, and some of various keywords are start to getting back.
Just be patience.

After the penguin update, all EMD lost a lot of their power. However, people have reported that EMD's still give some initial boost when they are first created but the boost disappears every google update.

People seem to be telling that a new update rolled out that which might be the reason for the drop in the rankings.
