OK. The site I used for deindexing was only a new micro niche blog. Not a big deal...

The point I would like to discuss is this is kind of a new thing I experienced in SEO.
 
Let me expand on what I said, just in case you are thinking this is a good idea - all it takes is for one of the people you do this towards to suspect it was your site - and then they can nuke you. It becomes mutual assured destruction.

Matt will always blame it all on something else. We'll need to deindex someone whose scream will be heard all the way to the moon.

I'm not saying whether the idea is good or bad because everybody have their own point of views.

But isn't it a point to discuss when the deindexing happens so easily?
 
google is doing very stupid things for benefit of major sites and forcing small & medium sites to use adwords

i am not suprised
 
would be interesting if you test it on one of your sites that has been running for some time and is indexed and ranked somewhere. Lets face it thats the real situation, not competing with only new domains that cannot take any amounts of backlinks anymore.

I have redirect a 9 year old deindexed domain to one of my site and I got deindexed in couple of days...

I have 301 a deindexed the same domain to one other site and it also got deindexed!!!

This is a strange experience for me...

Why would you start a new thread, that other one was perfectly functional.
Getting into negative seo is already likely to annoy certain people's, why add another reason?
They should just name the next update "Bear" in honor of Cutts, as in "Hot Bottom Seeks Bear".

How "weak" was the 2nd deindexed site? Was it yours? What it on the same server? etc...
 
Damn, this is so pathetic. Just a simple redirect and your site is deindexed. When will they change their algorithms lol.
It seems that they are going mad.
 
Do you know what, it's not sure you'll make more money by destroying your competition. Killing your competition site only makes them resort to using adwords. That only makes google more money not you.
