Definately some Google Update - Even non-emd affected

Hey all

Last night my rankings dropped on 2 of my sites.

SITE 1
EMD - 4 months old. Good mix of anchor link diversity. About 12 pages of good content.
Was #2 now disappeared. Linked to inner pages recently but not homepage. All Long tail keywords n/a apart from one.

SITE 2
Authority site. Non-emd domain. About 45 pages of unique content. Sarkark doing work on it with his Sherlock Service with lots of diversity and long tail/generic links.
Yesterday 2 main keywords hit 22 and 38. Now gone. Google dance maybe BUT...

2x Inner pages with zero backlinks were ranking about 8 and 9. Now gone. All keywords for site disappeared in SERPs. Seems like site got slapped for some reason.

Any insights?

There was a Panda update today so might have been affected. BTW, just cuase number of pages on your site is 45 does not make it 'Authority'.
 
I am waiting for a next update of Panda .. Let's see if will influence our business next days or next weeks.. I am very curious what will be new in the next update
 
What ever happened with this new update - a couple of our sites actually ended up on page 1 overnight, previously these pages were not even in the top 10 pages??? Funny how things work out sometimes. These were pages that were previously ranking on page 1, but they got slapped down months ago. I kept building links as usual, and all of a sudden they are back.
 
This is the usual G dance... keep doing the linkbuilding in the same rithm and the sites will be back on their places, may be up a place or two
 
A few small changes on my sites, 9 up, 2 down, nothing major for me.
 
Same here. My last site (2 months old) is gone. Unique content and very few spammy BLs. Diversified BL protfolio. Less than 10% of exact match anchor text used. No BHW-services mixing up different BL types used. Only Social Bookmarks and some high pr comments/profiles. Absolutely no idea why I got slapped. My other (older) website which was built on the same scheme is doing fine...

thanks for the replies.

So its normal for an inner page that is not being backlinked to to disappear in the dance also? Thought it was only the pages that were being targetted that would dance...
 
it is not google dance, too many people reporting some unnatural changes in basically every IM forum. It must be some google (most likely panda) update, even tho it is not official yet.
 
Sucks bad as my 2nd site's KW density is VERY low - like below 1%. :/
 
Guys iv realised that my sites which have a good trier 1 backlinks (but have been blasted with un-natural links such as scrapebox) have been badly affected. The rest are doing really good
 
No changes whatsoever. A few up, few down 1-2 placements... boring.

It is just a minor update,,
 
Google updates were in fact always minor, so they said, causing nothing but havoc to those blackhatting their run to the no1 spot.
 
Put that button on your tanked site, lets peoples know what google search is broken.
