Today I heard about one more acronym that caught my eyes, DEFI, started to see some videos, and read about.
I saw that on someone posting an local ad in my area, looking for someone to work on his office.
Is there anyone here who can give me some advice and point me where to start to learn a little bit more ?

DEFI is Decentralized Finance. By this definition ... anything can be part of DEFI. This includes Exchanges, Lending scripts, Lender scripts, Payment tools and so on. Being decentralized means that nobody controls the process. Everything is in code and permanent. Nobody can refund your transaction, but no one can suppress it either.

You can start by looking at some projects in https://defipulse.com/ . If you want to understand it at a deeper level or create a DEFI app, I recommend you learn solidity. A good starting point is this: https://ethereum.org/en/developers/

IMPORTANT: not all DEFI projects are legit. Anyone can write a code on the blockchain. It is up to the user to decide if he wants to use that piece of code or not. Don't put your money in random promises if you don't understand how it works
