Do you think most link building strategies fail not because the links are bad — but because they’re built too early?

I’m seeing cases where the same links work months later, but do nothing when the site isn’t ready.

yeah timing definitely matters, if the site has no authority or trust yet even good links won’t move anything

Yes, time can be just as crucial as the connection itself. If you build links too soon, they could not do much until the site has enough substance and authority to use them. Focusing on preparation first frequently makes the links work much better later.
