Okay i need a dedicated server.....

$100 per month budget (to start)

1gb ram i thinks good.... would be better if had different ip's although i have no idea about any of this.

    60gb+ hd

needs to allow xrumer to be run from it :)

whm and cpanel installed and fantantisco

urrrrrm oh and needs to be in a good network and finnally accept paypal as payment method.

Last but not least..... i know fuck all about managing a server..... i looked at the company that gives server for hostgator etc called theplace and they only accept cc but they offer what i need and are online 99.99999% of the time.

If anyone has any ideas? or can even accept the cash plus a bit extra if they pay using their cc for me then thats even better.

or if anyone can give me a resolution to my problem

well yeah thats what i have and what i need :)

trophaeum recommended VolumeDrive.com in another thread yesterday. I took a quick look and they have some decent prices. You may want to start your search there

    #1 xrumer is windows based
    #2 cpanel/whm/fanastico is linux based

this means you need to run xrumer under vmware and you should have 4gig of ram in the box (2 for windows with xrumer, leftover for linux + cpanel + general web hosting) for optimal performance

volumedrive are great, highly recommended, however if your not able to set this up yourself you could be in for some fun, i'm not aware of any server management company that will set a box up with a firewall and vmware and set it up right so vmware has unrestricted outgoing access but is completely blocked off from the world so as the windows install doesnt ever get any exploits

    oh and vd accept paypal

Don't waste your time to look for a reliable server, it will be pretty difficult to find one. Even so-called offshore could be a waste of money IMHO.

What I do/recommend: let your XRumer run on your dedi, but either strictly use (non transparent) proxies [there is still a problem... 'dns leaking' ... your provider can see if you misuse your server, but they will not necessarily complain as the target cannot identify you] or buy additionally a vpn-account. You do not need to change your IP often and can for sure use the provided static IP for more than a month. I have my self-created domain-list and did not see a mentionable decrease of the acceptance rate that way.

But... the VPN provider will cry if too many complains arrive [happened to me with strongvpn.com] so u will propably have to switch soon. The big advantage of VPN is the velocity. The publicly available proxies on XRumer are completely BS.

Either use VPN or private proxies, actually no way around that.

You can run XRumer within a virtual machine (VirtualBox, VMWare server) on your linux dedi and connect with vnc. Don't buy a VPS, it does not work depending on the virtualization and additionally you have to recompile the kernel (kernel modules) which is very difficult on VPS.

pm me if you have more questions

Based on what I have read, you will have to set the server up. I'm fairly sure they don't offer managed solutions. If you don't have the knowledge or expertise to set up the box you can hire an server management company to do it for you.

We have used configserver.com. They will set up a cPanel server for about a $100.

pay someone to do the initial setup, get yourself an account at pingdom.com and have someone available to be on call when the shit hits the fan (it will somewhere along the line)

make sure you get yourself something with a hardware raid1 hdd setup if you want higher reliability (not software, software is only good for people who know how to take care of it) and get 2 or 4gig of ram with cpanel and your good to go, cpanel will come preinstalled but not preconfigured from the datacenter normally, you will then need to optimize some settings, secure the box and setup a firewall, hence why i would say outsource the initial setup at a minimum, for the most part cpanel will keep the box uptodate enough after that to be secure and should just be a matter of a couple clicks to do various upgrades it doesnt do automatically (apache/php)
