That depends what are you doing. Mostly VPN is bad idea.

advancedhosters.com - they are bulletproof? If not they are overpriced. For 230$ you can get bulletproof Xeon E3-1240V2 with ssd and not bulletproof for ~100$.

What exactly is bulletproof and what providers have bulletproof servers?

Bulletproof = server provider allow xrumer without proxies. 99% servers providers will say you goodbay if you use xrumer without proxies / vpn thats why you need bulletproof solution. to run all that stuff you need a decent core duo 2.5-2.8Ghz machine with 4gig ram and 80Gb HDD

Zenno alone can kill such machine if you run many threads. Xrumer alone also.

Read/Writes to a database will benefit greatly from an SSD. Also, an SSD will have a higher reliability rate. But for I would pocket the $40 and invest in other hardware/connection improvements.

If your GSA's projects are getting extremely large in filesize, I believe the SSD would be an added advantage, and that lessen the time taken by your dedicated server to read the project file. But surely, since the SSD is very limited in space, 128,256 and anything above that is just not cost effective anymore. And if 128 or 256 minus that with the software you've already installed, and minus the OS, you aren't left with much space on the server. If you have site lists, those can go a few hundred MBs on disk space. And your GSA's other site list folder can go a few GB after time. So if have good money to spare, getting a larger SSD would help, otherwise, running so many projects on the dedicated will take a lot of space, which the SSD can't cope.
