Is there a way to know if my proxy is actually dedicated and only being used by me?

do a ip search for that proxy, if its been spammed
all over you will no

dedicated for what, One user of dedicated proxies may be using it for site A , other user may be for B, and so on , there are 100s of sites to create account and grow on.
If you need real dedicated then go for $5-$15 windows vps and enjoy speed at it fullest with it's own resources.

Simple answer NO.

You, as a proxy customer, do not have access to the server (and its log) so you can't know if a proxy is dedicated or shared.

Unfortunately, you have to trust that your provider is saying the truth and does not sell shared proxies as dedicated.
