After lurking for a while, I've been able to finally put together a strategy, however I'm still attempting to compete in a niche that interests me. The keywords I've decided to target (naturally, and confirmed with search,) are low hanging fruit, with several hundred, to low thousands, of searches.

Here's a couple of good things:

    • I'll be building silo sites around each KW
    • I have a good method to engage the social sites
    • I have quality unique content
    • I have roughly 12 hours a day I can work on this
    • The keywords are low hanging fruit
    • Towards the bottom of search results on google page 1 is a pinterest board

    Here's the questionables:

    • The key words are being PPC suggested at around $10.00!!
    • The search results are from MAJOR brick and mortar stores
    • I'm undecided on how to monetize, as I would prefer to sell custom packages, instead of having to rely on adsense for a click per thousand payments, or CPA offers taking customers off my own site.

These keywords are already long tail, but with them being low volume, and the brick and mortar competition, I feel like there's potential for massive earnings. Should I still go for glory?

I forgot to mention, the site will be structured around the silo theory, and an attempt to be an authority with tons of gallery pictures as examples. ETC

Sounds like you stumbled on a gold mine.. as long as they aren't eCommerce keywords like "buy [keyword] cheap" etc.
Can you explain the silo theory?

You will have to Google it, and there are great videos on yt. I am continually building my strategy and think I have a formula for incredible success. Think PBN but reverse. Use the blog to showcase the microniche sites that all support each other... And which are all direct sales, instead of small profit ads. I'll have to put together an infograph of what I'm talking about... It's about to get deep!

You have already done a lot of research dude. Let me know your progress with this site. I will follow your path :) By the way, you can ignore that part of PPC ( Adwords) suggested bid for the time being.

Out ranking brick and mortar stores is definitely doable.. but needs some effort. Since you seem to be ready to put in the effort, i would suggest you go ahead with it.
    Good luck OP.

Keep us posted on your progress.

I'll start a journey thread, as this title is now misleading for my direction to take...
