Decided to switch from blogger.

Hi after considering to switch from blogger(redirect traffic) to a self hosted website I finally decided to do it after receiving a DMCA "delete blog" warning.
But I have so many questions regarding this.
Can I make the site look exactly like my old blog even tho its a blogger template?
When I'm redirecting the traffic will my new self hosted site automatically be ranked?
After that I have put the script on the blog should I just continue posting on the self hosted site? I'm planning to use wordpress..

Google ranks the webpage URL. I guess moving from Blogger to WordPress is fine using the redirect feature of your domain name. I was a Blogger user before and now working with WordPress.

If you got a DMCA warning on blogger you're sure to get it anywhere else also. What content are you posting?

Thanks guys, but how do I make the wordpress blog look exactly like my old one? Oh and if it mathers, I'm doing this to be able to sell the site.
