I would say wait a bit, don't do any dramatic changes for now just keep posting like normal. When I got hit in last years December update I didn't recover until I removed a lot of the pages I had posted, was publishing pretty heavy the month before and I guess they saw it as spam. Think I published 10 language translations of nearly 400 pages that got them to nuke me.

There was only one recently updated post.
Up until this afternoon (local time), the site was ranked 2nd, but a few hours later the ranking disappeared.
This site had stayed within the Top 3 for several months.

The update is still rolling out. It might probably complete by the end of Christmas - new year season.
 
It seems like I’m the only one being affected—everyone else doesn’t seem to have any ranking changes, and nobody really seems to care.
Even looking at the Semrush Sensor, it clearly shows rankings are fluctuating a lot.
I guess people are just doing SEO with their mouths only.

I bet a lot of people are seeing crazy fluctuations, don't think the update is done yet either so more will be affected. I can only speak for myself and I'm in a very secure niche and not doing the regular blog style type of website.
 
Noticing small ups and downs so far. Looks like Google is still adjusting. Waiting to see the final impact
 
Seeing mixed results so far some pages up slightly, others volatile. Too early to draw conclusions until the rollout fully settles.
 
Seeing a bit of an uplift on my main site. Rankings on the core terms are bouncing around quite a lot though. Too early to say what’s really going on, but there’s definitely movement.

This night be third official update this year but unofficially they released lot of updates this year.
 
I dont get panic with updates anymore. Still no differneces in my client sites yet. Lets see.

Who gives a fuck anymore about G core updates? I can already tell you the main focus of this core updates and the next....SELL MORE ADS TO THE PEASANTS!!!

Actually loosing rankings at this time is very bad. Because this season is higher earnings for all because of holidays.
 
Seeing mild but targeted shifts.
Long tail pages are gaining, a few affiliate homepages dipped, nothing chaotic yet.
Feels like an intent-quality tune rather than a hard reset still early days.
 
In the adult niche, one website grew by 20% and another by 75% over the past 2–3 days. I’m not sure if this is part of the new update, but these are big jumps—I’m not talking about just a few extra visitors per day.

Anyway, it’s still too early to see the real results.
 
Early signs look familiar , site with strong EEAT, stable link profiles and real traffic seem steady or slightly up, while thin/over-optimized pages are wobbling.

Feels more like a quality refinement than a shake-up so far. I’m waiting until rollout ends before making any changes—too early to react hard.
 
My website has been significantly affected by Google’s update, and keyword rankings have been fluctuating over the past few days. Hopefully, there won’t be any negative impact from this update.
 
What is frustrating me is that my quality site is dropped to page 2-3 and some super simple site got pushed to my position in top 3. Honestly, that site was pushed down with the december 2024 update and is now recovering, but it is quite frustrating since I had the intention of selling my current website this month/january. Google seems to do a lot of random shit with these updates.
 
Currently seeing some minor fluctuations in ranking. Main keyword is stable, some minor keywords are up a few positions while others are down 1-2 positions but that's pretty normal for my site.
 
I got hit pretty hard on a main site. Had a lot of top rankings, all gone. Anyone that didn´t get wrecked using ai? Google loved my site before this update. Its also half human half ai, but I can´t get really good backlinks. Problem of an affiliate I guess.
 
I asked Santa for a few ranking improvements. I hope he won't disappoint me. :cool:
Now seriously, this is standard and recurring G shit.
