Hey all,

Anyone know how long the decaptcher service has been down or how long they usually take to get it back up and running?

Holy crap, that explains the huge failure rate I had after I let Sick Submitter run through the night.

Sounds about right...I was posting YT comments when it went down.

If it's not back up by tomorrow, could be bad news.

I use decapther too, but always have DBC as a backup source!

I see an influx of DeathbyCaptcha users if this keeps happening lol. (I use both services)

Oh my god decaptcher is down, wondering when will they be online again? Pray that it will be ASAP.

I just fired up my senuke to do a campaign and to my surprise I see that decaptcher is down :/ I'll use deathbycaptcha in the meantime but this is bs! How can their server be down! These services are like google.. They are the backbone of all IM tools.. This just goes to show that you've got to have 1 or 2 backup accounts with other captcha services in case the one you primarily use fucks up!

Hope they are back up ASAP...it's not looking good as it has been close to 11 hours of downtime, on a Friday also...

It was still working even though the main site is down. Try checking your balance through your software.

You can still get to them at but I can't post a link.

Glad i moved away from Decaptcher.com

It was a pretty poor experience.

So does anyone's decaptcher work? I'm trying to figure out if its due to my balance being at $0 or if the whole system is down.

Just change your Host to one of the following:

api.de-captcher.com 
api.de-captcher.info 
api.decaptcher-reloaded.com

I suppose if for some reason whatever program you're using doesn't give you access to change the API's URL, you add a line to your windows Hosts file found in ./windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

Open it up with text pad as an administrator, make sure it's not protected by your anti-virus, also make sure it's not write protected, add this line to the bottom of the file as a new line with no hashes:

api.decaptcher.com api.decaptcher-reloaded.com

Then reboot the PC. Should work theoretically; haven't tested it personally.

Anyways I've been using decaptcher-reloaded as my API for the past two days and it's been flawless.
