The site is down for me, but it is still solving captchas thru the api I think.
 
I've just received an email from them today telling me to use some direct IP's. I guess they are experiencing difficulties atm. Hope this helps :)
 
Their domain is nameserver less...which is really strange

I noticed it was down when no spam on cl ads today
 
maybe someone can tell me

what the fuck good does it do - to send me IP addresses to point the thing at - when all the software I have already has it hard coded into it - so that I cant change it ??

am I missing something ?
 
While there are problem with our server domain name, use direct IPs instead.
They are: 72.233.81.250 and 72.233.78.210.
The site address is http://72.233.78.210

Learn2use your hosts file and enjoy tons of lag free captcha solving since most won't know how to do this.

Here is the instructions for those less savvy. Make sure you are admin when running notepad or some other editor:

Open ~<windows folder>\System32\drivers\etc

Add the following two lines at the bottom:

72.233.81.250 decaptcher.com
72.233.78.210 www dot decaptcher.com (be smart here, use the actual period and not "dot")
72.233.78.211 poster.decaptcher.com
72.233.78.210 api.decaptcher.com

Be happy you can visit the website and solve captchas.

BTW some software that hardcoded the previous IPs will not work (I noticed Sick still wont function, but, software where developers that had half a mind to use a dns instead of a hardcoded IP do still function with this tweak).

BTW if someone has the old ip addresses that sick submitter or other software is using, you can map those in the hosts file (just map the old IP to the new one).

I don't have those so I'll have to load up wireshark when I get home and packet sniff sick to see what it's trying to connect to...if anyone has the old IP addresses, please post them and I'll edit my post above to include that mapping.

what do we use for the poster? cause that had a different domain.
 
updated my host file and still unable to use with scrapebox or Article Marketing Robot!
 
Add this line for sick:
72.233.78.211 poster.decaptcher.com

Add this line for AMR:
72.233.78.210 api.decaptcher.com


With both of these, scrape should work as well (as with most other decaptcher integrated programs).
