Decaptcha + Bookmarking Demon Costs

Hey guys,

I just got BMD and I've been reading as many of threads on this thing as I can seeing as though it's not the easiest tool in the world to use straight out of the box.

So I set up decaptcha with this thing and its $4 per 1000 credits.

If you haven't read all the threads by scritty I highly advise you do because that guy knows his stuff when it comes to this program.

Anyways I've read that many him along with my users will have 100+ accounts.

Doing the math, that adds up to a good amount of coin using decaptcha if you use every account, 5 days a week...

Half of the top 100 PR1+ bookmarking sites require a captcha when you bookmark. That comes down to around 50 credits per blast of an account...

If you use this tool 5 days a week, that comes out to...

50 blasts x 100 accounts x 5 days a week = 25,000 credits used up per week

Since Decaptcha is $4 per 1000 credits, thats $100 per week... $400 per month.

Now I just got google slapped not too long ago so I'm pretty tight on cash and so to me, that's a sizeable amount of money to be spending on bookmarking each month.

For those of you who have used this tool....

#1. Is it necessary to use it at this level?
#2. Does the results you see justify the amount you spend with all the captcha credits?

Trying to plan my expenses with this thing and I'm kinda confused... :confused:

I totally understand bro, it's really hard to say because there sooo many factors that go into a site making money, content, keyword research and so on but i will say this. your doing good already because you took the time to figure out your expenses for just using BMD itself. Some people never realize when these bots don't have a OCR with them how much money there gonna spend in captcha solving, at least i can tell u your in the right frame of mind already.

I like bookmarking demon I have had it three months and its improved my rankings but you are right about the expense I try to use it as little as possbile these days
 
RDS, this kind of thinking will get you far I think. I've had exactly the same issue with BMD so appreciate the brainstorming session of this. What I would really like, if you know of a solution to this one too, is too find a source of BMD accounts already set up which I can just buy and import - because setting up 100 accounts is ridiculously time consuming, at least the way I do it. Any ideas?

If you are bookmarking 1 Url, you only need to blast 1 time to 100 sites (random choose 1 from 100 accounts you have at each sites). That means, in total, you are blasting 100 times for that url and need 50 captcha (based on your assumption).

In short, 1 url = 50 captcha * 0.004
Captcha Cost = $0.2/url to bookmarking to 100 sites

Depend on your linking strategy, you may choose to bookmark your main site or your first tier linking, you cost may be varied.

Let's say you have 5 1st tier Web 2 properties, each day will your cost = $0.2*5 = $1

Do remember that you goal is to get link diversification while stay under the radar. You will not gain so much "SEO benefits" if you keep bookmarking to these 100 website (even you use different accounts). These backlinks from high PR website is good to get your First Tier indexed in short term, while google still spending it's time (few days to weeks) to find your countless backlinks from Article Distribution, Forum Profile and Blog Commenting.

Really sad but true. $4 for 1000 captcha. spending $100 per month for only this shit. sent couple of emails requesting to add deatch by captcha. no positive reply at all.
 
I use BMD 5 hours a day, but it's expensive. I created a pligg bot that works better then BMD but it can only create accounts and confirm emails atm. I can use Anti-Captcha and it's only 1$/1000 Captchas.

Problem is, it's very time consuming to get it finished and create a GUI...when i have more time i'll finish that and sell it somewhere^^
 
According to a post on here, you can hack together a method to use deathbycaptcha, which only costs $1.39 per 10000 credits. I can't post links yet, so just do a Google search for "deathbycaptcha bookmarking demon" (with quotes).

I just bought BMD so I don't know if this method still works, but I plan on giving it a try.

We are launching our captcha service next week and it will cost only $0.70 for 1000 captchas.

You will be able to use our service with all apps including BMD. That should decrease your captcha costs. Will pm you when we are launched.

Man you must use Death by captcha, it is 1$/1000 captchas, i use BMD every day with it, so how to do to get death by captcha working with BMD:
- You need to opt in to use Decaptcher API at http://deathbycaptcha.com/user/api/decaptcher
- Download http://edwinsoft.net/downloads/bmd/decaptcher_dll.zip and unzip it to your BMD folder
- In Bookmarking Demon settings uncheck "use HTTP POST"
- Enter server address api.deathbycaptcha.com
- Enter port 8223
- Test by clicking "Check Balance"

My captcha balance is low :D, i have done lot of linkbuilding this day, will purchase more tomorrow.

tested on latest version, 5.5.8.1 and it works :D
 
I was having so many questions with using BMD. Most of it got solved in this thread itself.

I intend to use BMD to bookmark 25 urls a month, so I believe the cost might not go that high.

I have a success rate of 40-50%. Don't know if it is related to this hack or what, you can tell me if you have some decaptcher credits and compare success rate with DBC then post here your finding, ok ?
 
Thanks for the info Balsagoth007. I don't mind running without captchas for my crap links, but it's nice to not pay through the nose to bookmark my top two tiers.
