Dec 2022 Update let’s decode it!!!

1) thing we know for sure is other languages than English will not be spared

2) I expect low quality AI content sites to tank, while better written AI content to rank

3) poor off page seo site should suffer

4) if you use faq try deleting and remove faq schema after a certain time in case site traffic constantly tanks

Too early I know but I don’t consider this as a mega update and it may end very quick hence let’s get ready for a rough winters or a merry xmas good luck to all.
You're absolutely right. Sites with poor external optimization at the time of the update will suffer, I don't know what will happen later.

I have a site where I promoted with minimal use of link mass. To be exact, I had only a couple of anchor links to target queries and a bunch of junk, but I was able to reach the top 1 for all the keywords that interested me.

A month ago I noticed a competitor who started doing crappy links from the home page of hacked sites, but until the day of the update he was not getting any advantage, I had no hope that he had a chance to break through, as he over-spammed with anchors etc.

But exactly on the day of the update, he takes the first position. I just started jumping back to first place a couple days ago but I'm still not in first place, at least not right now (I started using links).

Conclusion: Guys, create backlinks, make them quality, watch them disappear and buy new ones in time, it's important. Even if you think you have enough already remember - google loves content/links updates. Good luck and high positions!

2 weeks have passed, any updates to your original thinking above? also, how did you come up with the FAQ removal concept?

thanks
