Hey everyone, I am semi-new to this forum. While I don't post too often, I have participated in my fair share of different sales and programs provided by numerous members here.

I, like many others, signed up for the autoblog-a-day service provided by now banned member DeaTHRequest. To make a long story short, he gave us pretty decent content, even if it was usually not delivered on time. We were promised ~30 autoblogs, though he stopped working on the service after 9 and basically called it quits. He promised everybody full refunds, and apparently gave them out to some.

Throughout Nov. and Dec. I made a post on the forum asking whats up with the refund that I was owed, and never got a response despite him signing onto the forum every day. While I was left in the cold, he was apparently too busy participating in a holiday contest on his twitter (http://twitter.com/autoblogation).

Since he stopped providing the blogs, I have tried contacting him numerous times through any means possible (IMs, Support tickets, phone calls) and have gotten no responses. He is on AIM all the time and chooses to ignore me.. Heres the only convo where he ever responded, our first AIM convo:

[10:25] rocksgr: hey are you there?
[10:26] IMDeaTHReQueST: hi
[10:26] IMDeaTHReQueST: may i know who is this?
[10:27] rocksgr: Yes, I am one of your autoblogation members
[10:27] rocksgr: my username is willmiz on the drautoblogs forum
[10:28] rocksgr: I submitted a ticket to you reguarding a refund and didnt hear back so I figured I would IM you
[10:31] rocksgr: Could you give me the status of when you are planning on sending out refunds for the autoblog a day service?
[10:35] rocksgr: ...Hello?

Whats worse is that he shut down the forum (drautoblogs.com) that contained all the files to the blogs shortly after his announcement, so I am left with basically nothing.

I know he can't do much harm through the forums since he is banned, though if any of you are thinking of joining autoblogation for any of his other services, stay far away! He is simply going to take your money and run.

If anybody can somehow get through to him or help me recover the lost files I would appreciate it so much. Thanks!

Same thing happened to me. I am new to the forums as well and was just getting started here when I joined with his services. I left some positive reviews of him on the forums regarding the first few days of the service. Then was disappointed when he slowly stopped producing the blogs after the first week. He said many problems had come up such as the death of his grandmother and having to travel to India for a funeral. I feel like an idiot = =

Everything was going smooth until the blogs started being delayed. I am as well out 150$ from that discounted price he originally gave BHW members. The worst part is I got charged another 300$ for the recurring monthly subscription which I canceled after the first 15 days thinking I wouldn't be charged again. I then spoke with him multiple times about being refunded for the 300$. Out of sympathy and emotion I truly felt like he was a sincere guy and I wanted to give him another shot. We negotiated a few times about him offering a specific package for me for the total 450$.

Nothing has happened since, the 45 days have passed on paypal leaving me with no outs. I really regret the choices I made doing business with this guy. It was really stupid on my behalf.

I got the feeling that he was a well respected guy on BHW and he even offered the package to me for free at first when I told him I was struggling to get the money. He seemed like a very trustworthy guy. Anyways I still try to contact him on AIM and rarely get any response from him. This is a heads up to anyone, stay away from http://www.autoblogation.com

Yes, this guy is a Thief ! you can read more http://blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/164524-scam-artist-1800-more-deathrequest-whole-story.html.

He might have several nick though.. his earlier nick was " NikhilG" which he already built a reputation of an "autoblog expert" before renaming himself to "DeaTHReQueST"...

Maybe all should be diligent of what they spend on dubious services even those that already has a good reputation which often is an illusion with some Blackhat Experts here..

i choose his service and was never delivered. kept after his back and lucky i got refund.

Have you tried going through 2co?

I submitted a refund request through 2co (2checkout, his payment processor), and received a refund shortly after.

What an idiot!

I am glad that at least one person got their money back.

What you really need is the REAL name of this person.

Then, you could teach him some nasty blackhat tricks......

Unbelievable!

You could ALL email namecheap with his fraudulent behavior.....not sure if it will help.

Again, if the person that you are doing business with continues to use cutesy forum names, hides their business information, and doesn't pay upfront, then it should scream FRAUD, to anyone even thinking of doing business with this douche.....

If you've lost enough money to justify hiring an attorney, it's pretty straighforward for said attorney to get a subpoena, at which point NameCheap will release the contact information from WhoisGuard.

However, even assuming that he put in his real info, it may be hard to get any sort of jurisdiction over him if he's in India -- unless he has money in US bank accounts.
