DeathbyCaptcha having problems again !?!

I'm experiencing some server problems with api.dbcapi.me server. It works for few seconds then it doesn't work for few minutes and so on . When you check the server on downforeveryoneorjustme website it says :

It's just you. api.dbcapi.me is up. and then check again : It's not just you! api.dbcapi.me looks down from here.

When you look on their website you can see that the server is up all time and they're not saying anything about this issue ... so my question is : Is just me or someone else is having problems with deathbycaptcha server?

They have done a major update in their system. I think that was the issue yesterday. It has been back now.

I think deathbycaptcha server is having some major issue. I was using an automation tool yesterday to create a number of emails and it kept notifying me that captcha was not solved. After a few retries, the it get through. Five accounts, 88 catpcha credits!!

Just went down again 11:50 PM EST. I had deleted a bunch of sites because I thought they were not working.

even now after few days they did the maintenance the server is going down from time to time. It's really annoying .

Ok, so here are their UPDATES:

Aug 20: A small group of users might be experiencing issues with the service due to some connectivity inconveniences we're facing with our DNS provider. We're expecting a resolution for this situation in a short period of time. We apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience on this matter. Please note that there's no need to take further actions on this matter, as it should be fixed automatically within some minor time.

Aug 21: Some users might be still facing issues due to some technical difficulties we're going through. We're working hard to ensure 100% again to all our customers as soon as possible. Once again, thanks for the comprehension.

Aug 21: We managed to sort out our previous issue, but unfortunately a new one has surfaced and because of it you're getting unusually high solving times. We have isolated the problem and are working on fixing it as we speak.

Aug 22: The service is now up and running properly again! We really thank you all for your patience and understanding.

On their index page they show the status that the server is running and has no problems :

Status: OK
Average solving time 1 minute ago: 10 sec
5 minutes ago: 10 sec
15 minutes ago: 10 sec
Today's average accuracy rate: 96.0 %
(updated every minute)

BUT

I'm trying to solve some captchas and here is what I GET: System is under maintenance, will be back online soon

Don't you think they should have announced this is still under maintenance instead of telling us that everything is fixed ???? It makes me so angry coz lots of people are paying for their services and they are not doing their job as they should .

Anyone else is experiencing the same problems?

I can't login to deathbycaptcha today so they must still be having problems. I've had the other issues with them earlier this week and they take at least 24 hours to get back to me. I'm thinking about buying captchasniper

The service is functioning properly at this moment.

If you're facing login issues, please try deleting all the cookies for Death By Captcha on the browser you're using to access our website. If after doing this you still can't login, please PM your DBC username and I'll look into it.

If you were submitting CAPTCHAs on Monday/Tuesday and were affected by our intermittent issues, please send me your account details to compensate your account accordingly.

I havent been able to login for 3 days, or get a response from support, gave up. all my stuff is back over at decaptcher. far less issues anyway. screw it.

Still waiting. It's going to be 4 days now.

Ok 5 days now since I've had no response from them. deathbycaptcha blows anyway with all their issues, but their support is laughable. He did pm me here for my dbc username and I responded and never heard from him again.

Ok , When are you going to solve the server problems ? It works for 2-3 captchas and then I have to wait for about 30 minutes for the server to work again. System is under maintenance, will be back online soon is mostly there. Don't you think is taking to much time for you to resolve the server issues ???

Server problems are solved. You could have gotten that message intermittently on 08-25-2012 for about 5 minutes; it was due to some electrical difficulty, which was taken care of right after it appeared = ) .
