Death by captcha issues

    Hello there,

    it's my first post in this great forum. Unfortunately I don't have any connection to the death by captcha API anymore:
    java.io.IOException: API connection lost or timed out

    Doing a GET on api.dbcapi.me/api/status I don't receive anything -> Firefox says connection refused. What exactly could be the issue?
    I don't use any proxy...the strange thing is: When I call api.dbcapi.me/api/status from my mobile browser, I get a response.
    For about two days everything worked fine, now nothing works.

    Do you have any ideas?

    I too have been having problems with the DeathByCaptcha services, for approx 1 week.VIA HTML form submission I keep receiving the error:"Unable to complete request. Check your account credentials, balance, and ensure you're using the API correctly.If you're receiving this message on our API, please check in our website for Updates notices.If this problem persists, please contact support. We appreciate your patience and understanding!"They had it fixed yesterday.. unfortunately it is back to not working today.I am currently looking into other solutions.

    I'm not affiliated with DeathByCaptcha, I'm just a client.btw, DeatyByCaptchas service has been outstanding over the years.Accurate, consistent, and timely solving.I haven't had a problem, until now. Looks like it's fixed again, for me.I hope Ankebut can report the same.

    Unbelivable.
    Was checking for hours now wtf is wrong with my senuke. And now found out after some really short time the website from DBC looks like this and NO Captcha is solved anymore.
    Seems you have a big problem guys. Tried different ip's different proxy's and without proxy's. All the time the same.
    If you not fix i must consider another captcha service. i am really pissed.

    It seems to be a generell problem from your service.
    Already switcht to another solution. Will not waste my time to solve your problems. Even will not run a Fiddler Session. Look at your logs.
    Your API is blocking after some captchas.
    Seems many people have this problem.

    Thanks for your feedback, and sorry for the inconvenience.

    As stated on my previous posts, you need to help me solve your issues. If you don't provide me valuable information, we won't be able to troubleshoot in our end (like name of your software, IP, Fiddler logs).

    Most of the times these issues are caused by third party software not sending CAPTCHAs properly and/or trying to solve captchas without balance.

    Even if some of you are having issues with our API, we have countless of other users sending captchas with no limitations. For this reason, we encourage you to provide us the specific information that we have been requesting in our previous posts.

    If you need a hand with anything else, please let me know.

    I've been having problems since they changed something in early Feb, it's now the middle of March!

    They seem to get it fixed for a few hours to days at a time max.

    Just told me earlier it's the image I'm sending causing the block. (nothing has changed on my end and I've verified the data being sent)

    I'm currently looking for another solution as this has cost me a lot of money and I've been offered no compensation and barely any support.

    Just wanted to make it clear that I've had no problem for years.

    It's only been this last month.

    Whats more upsetting is how it's been handled than it not actually working.

    I'm sure you can understand teh frustration.

    Hopefully you can figure out why everyone is getting blocked.

    May be turn that off?:confused:

    Wouldn't that be irrelevant in this case,as it's clearly documented that several users are having the same problem?

    We've verified my credentials, IP, and data being sent and I still keep getting IP block.

    Like I said this has been handled horribly and you've really made no obvious attempt to trouble shoot or compensate.
    Seems you just put blame on my end and remove IP blocks. You can't tell why our IP's are getting blocked??

    My point is not to complain. It's to get something fixed. E-mail tag for > month wasn't helping.

    Not much else I can do other than work on changing providers & warn others at this point.
