Death by Captcha is Down!

Hi guys,

when i try to load death by captcha website it always show "unable to connect" did you experience this? let me know. thanks

They changed from ".com" to ".eu" .They should have paid attention to this kind of thing and redirected their domain....
 
Getting the same thing. The remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway.

75% of my submitted captchas are getting the error. 25% are correctly solved.

What Software are you guys using?

I'm using Zennoposter. Deathbycaptcha says that it is a Zennoposter problem. But I doubt it and am sure that it is Deathbycaptcha.

I am switching to Imagetyperz to see if they have the same problem with DBC or better!!
 
Yes, it is down. They are also in way to increase their price up to 45% which is not Good.

About further increases, there's nothing concrete on that yet, as we're trying to increase our capacity as much as possible with the current increase, but if anything we'll surely think about our customers first.

I just realized I can't go on the DeathByCaptcha website while I'm running GSA Captcha Breaker, ha. So for the past week I just thought their site was having issues again. Just bringing this up in case anyone else has had the same issue, turn off CB and then reload DBC website. Whoopsie me.

Also, Death By Captcha keeps giving us the run around on the "NS Worker Compensation of 33% higher rate", first it was during Christmas holidays, then from the 1st to the 9th, then the 9th to the 17th then the blah to the blah, and now I noticed it's changed again to the 24th to the 31st. I keep staying with them because I want to just push through it, but obviously they are just gonna do it again after this term is over.

It defeats the whole purpose of why I'm with them, so what Paid service are you guys using that you are happy with?
 
I have stopped using them and wont in future they used to be good guess its time to call it a day
 
I'm also beginning to wonder if death by captcha is as economical as they used to be. No wonder everyone is coming up with captcha software.

Still charged for every "attempt" I made though - even though they presumably all just bounced back off the server. Luckily only a few dollars worth , but this is getting typical of this system.
A year ago they were head and shoulders above the rest in terms of preice for performance. Now they are not very good at all. decaptcha has the price/performance edge for my money at the moment.

Hi,

The service/website has been up and running properly.

We didn't experience any downtime Yesterday. Our service won't charge you per attempt, but per image submitted (if the result we give you is incorrect and your software/script marks it as such you aren't billed for it).

Could you please PM me your DBC username to check on the images you're submitting and trouble-shoot if needed?

We needed to increase our rates during certain peak hours of the day (if you use the service outside peak hours this won't affect you) in order to fulfill our customer's needs properly. I know it's a burden for you, our valuable customers, but please note that in return we are offering a virtually overload-free, stable service at all hours.

Deathbycaptcha is now one of the weakest decaptha services.
