Dealing with Porn Addicts

Since I'm in an adult niche I have to deal with porn addicts pretty much everyday and it starts to get old after a while. No matter how "diverse" you get with what you're offering and how much you offer, they still find a way to complain about something. If you include some non nude teasing stuff, for the people that are into it, many complain over that. They even complain about stuff such as file names and tags on a site, they get upset if you use a numbering system over timestamp. They get upset if you use the real name of a model either in the tag or in file name.


I don't get how people can't just find something enjoyable from the offerings and spend some quiet time alone and stfu. If you're getting content for free there is nothing to complain about.

A couple of days ago Chipotle was giving out coupons for a free burrito. The deal ended at 6pm EST. You should have seen how many people bitched on Twitter bc they missed that window of opportunity.

Like they're entitled to a free burrito. Yeah, Chipotle may have poisoned thousands of people across five states but that doesn't mean they have to give out free burritos for a indefinite period of time, or even open that opportunity back up so that people who missed it can catch it.

I'm going to get my free burrito tomorrow btw.

Tl;dr: People will always find a way to bitch about something they're getting for free.
 
Most of them are drunk and lonely. They won't remember anything the next morning. Why bother?

I've always assumed that when you visit a porn site, you're there to wank to the video, not to go into the code and analyse the file name.

People are clearly getting bored with their instant gratification.

Did you hear about that guy who was receiving hundreds of text messages from dimwits who were asking about the free burrito after sending the message to the wrong number? People were sending him vulgar text messages telling him to get them their free burrito.

lol, it's similar when you have the same name as a popular public figure and people hit you up with every kind of stuff on different social media sites thinking you're the celeb and you need to explain over and over again that you are in fact a different person, it can get to a point where you seriously start to think about changing your name or leaving social media all together :)

OP, maybe make polls for your visitors, so you'll know what the vast majority wants and you can just ignore the minority, you can refer the complainers to the poll results, so they can shut up, you can't please everybody at the same time
 
They complain about tags,filenames and model naming because the videos will get taken down. Something you must encounter everyday ?

If you dont want to deal with perverts dont run a porn site.

Interesting. So the community is just complaining to keep the OP's site out of trouble. The original post made it sound like they were just being picky about the tags and file names in general (to make it easier to find?), although that was just my interpretation.

That reminds me, I remember hearing about one model who went berserk with the take-down notices for any video she did in the past so that her fans would have to register on her site. She was known for aggressively taking those videos down not even an hour after they were uploaded and shared.
