Well, my post is going to be a bit of a self-help mumbo jumbo that many people will label as crap, but it's completely true. There's even a sticky post about this exact thing somewhere on this forum (why most people fail, or something like that), phrased in a different way, can't remember where exactly.
When you're in the "Failure and Depression" "Loop", you have to get out of it. It's a loop because negative feedback (failing campaigns, etc.) creates more bad results. You fail at something minor and that further reinforces your belief that you are not good at IM, etc. As a result, you expect the next thing you do to fail(because that's the norm for you now), therefore you do a crappy and half-assed job at it, fully assuring it will fail.
If you made a million bucks(or even $1k, the actual numbers are irrelevant) on your last marketing campaign, you know you're good and you know if you put in the work you will get results, therefore when you're making a landing page you really put all your energy into it and completely engage in the process, perfecting everything. As a result, you're in the upper spiral of success(where you expect things to work, therefore you put your time into them), and not the downward spiral of failure(where you rush things, trying to get by and cope, half-assing everything and focusing on crappy BS methods, like spamming comments, etc). The spiral of failure happens when you doubt what you're doing will work(because it didn't work last time), therefore you do only the minimum required to "get by". If you follow a method posted on BHW, you don't do all the steps fully, you skip some of them and you rush things, further digging yourself into failure.
There are a few ways to get out of this dangerous failure loop. The one that's 100% effective is getting that first sale. Once you do, your brain sees something is working and it's easy to keep going. That's why people often say persistence is key. If you persist for long enough in the face of failure, even if you're a dummy, you eventually get a sale and from there it's easy to keep going. Once your brain "buys in" something, mental resistance dissolves and you start seeing the upside, instead of coping, getting by and focusing on BS methods. The other is changing your emotional state, which is where books like "The Miracle Morning" or "Parallel Universes of self" come in.
So, your "block" is mental, it's not that a certain method or traffic source doesn't work. Any method out there, there are people making serious money with it. Even methods considered redundant, like article marketing, micro niche sites, etc, there are people making a killing with them still. So, it's not the actual method, is how you execute it and having the right knowledge about it.
