The wife and I went to see this on Valentine's Day because she is awesome and wanted to see it as well.

The movie was incredible. A few things if you haven't seen it.

  • It is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. On par with 21/22 Jump Street.
  • This isn't one of the movies where all the good parts are in the trailer. Not even close.
  • It got an R Rating for a reason. Don't take small children.
  • The entire movie is spent making fun of superhero movies and Ryan Reynolds.
  • The plot is a little bit superhero stale overall. Don't let it dismay you.

But don't take my word for it. It's now the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time, ten days after its release. It's at almost half a billion dollars in ticket sales. It has an 8.6 on IMDB with almost 200,000 ratings, and is in the top 100 highest rated movies of all time.

Go see it. Even if you don't like superhero movies.

Source: I don't like superhero movies. At all. Didn't see the Avengers or anything. Just Iron Man 1-3 and the first new Spiderman with Social Network guy.

I loved it. I saw it twice in a weekend. I generally enjoy superhero movies, but there were quite a few I didn't enjoy. I think deadpool tops them all. You can quote me on that.

The Wife loves all the Super Hero Movies, much more of a fan of them than I am. She is looking forward to seeing this, been going on about it for awhile.

I always download from torrent and watch movies never go to theater this is the only one I went to theater to see...I would have paid double to see it...never laughed that much since long...

Yeah i saw it opening day, fucking brilliant. 3rd best superhero film apart from the dark knight and watchmen. Check them out if you haven't seen them because they blow any other superhero films out of the water.

I've watched that scene over and over and I still fucking love it

The origin scene in deadpool stood out especially, that was pretty fucked up.

Great movie, I was not expecting it to be so good.

I totally forgot about Dark Knight. That and Rises I watched and enjoyed as well.

And you sure as shit better know I'm going to be all over Suicide Squad. Margot Robbie and Jared Leto. Yes please.

+1 - bloody brilliant film. I liked the way it constantly took the piss out of itself and x-men (pretty much the whole superhero genre). There's not much eye candy for the laydeez - they covered the main guy's prettiness up with latex and not the good kind of latex either.

But yeah, so funny and it's nice to see a superhero film without all the pompous, grimdark, burden-of-responsibility nonsense (side-eyeing Snyder here). I mean, seriously, if someone's immortal, or can fly, or has laser eyes or is super-strong, it takes someone really *dull* to whinge about it and not use it for irresponsible purposes.

If I combined every orgasm i've ever had into one moment, it wouldn't even be 1% of what I experienced after seeing that final moment in the trailer.

I had lots of laughs while watching this movie and it was action-packed movie with lots of funny shit. Watched it with my girlfriend and she liked it. Win-win in my books.

They did the Suicide Squad trailer where the bullets went in time to Bohemian Rhapsody before Deadpool. My god.

True, if I had XRay vision or Invisibility as a Super Power, I would definitely be a Super Perv, f#ck all that fighting crime nonsense.

Deal with it ;) ;) ;)
