The algo feeds me ego-boosting content.
The comments feed me ego-boosting opinions.

There is no conflict. No arguments. Just an endless agreement.
Echo Chambers are well sealed.
How can they be so well sealed without technology?
I think most people online have been AI for at least 5 years now.

In Greece a country of 9 millions there are instagram influencers with 2 million followers. Yeah... right...

Totally not dead internet theory in practice.

Even these conflicts look staged to me. Performative. They lack substance, if you 've seen one, you 've seen them all. Maybe they are humans, I am not sure. But maybe if a human consumes unknowingly huge amounts of AI content, he will pick up personality traits of AI. Sort of how agent Smith in matrix managed to escape to the real world by possessing a human while in the matrix.

Seriously ? are you sure we're talking about the same Internet ? Today, You'd tell someone how adorable their Kids are and below you'll find hundreds of comments going back & forth about I don't know what.

I had thought about this before .but the world is actually a town on it own..internet know no borders

They usually agree with the correct viewpoint, but on social media, people still argue and get toxic with each other a lot. Everyone has their own opinion — there’s always a majority and a minority.

I understand why it seems that way. Until everything begins to sound the same, algorithms force the same crowd and tone into your feed. It produces that fictitious feeling of agreement. Platforms are designed to display content that keeps users scrolling, even if it creates an echo chamber. This does not imply that everyone is AI.

All the web platforms were like shitty bots talking to each other mostly, since the beginning already.

Checkout GirlsAskGuys for example, on every question there is an attacker or a troll or a rude idiot. AI bots are 1000x better.

These disagreements are surface level, they all agree that correctness is defined by publicity.
