Hey,

I brought a dozen domains from auction and all are good finds except for one that slipped through my filters.

The domain is 13 years old and has a good established, diverse backlink profile but appears to have been de indexed in google (Doh!).

When i realised this i set up a quick blog on blogger and put up a few pages of content to see if it had been deindexed because it hadn't been hosted in a while or if it had be deindexed as part of a wider punishment for the previous owner.

I threw the url in to backlinkindexer and did a few tweets of the URL etc to see if I could get it indexed and so far (2 days) nothing.

does anyone know if it is possible to recover this domain? does the penalty disappear if the domain is dropped or something?

My initial thought is that the domain is dead and can't be resurrected am I wrong ?

I second that... Would like to know if it can be resurrected from death or not.
