    Do I need to have an address in germany to register a .de domain?

    Yes but some registrars provide you an address if you don't have one.

    normally you need one, but some registrars, like mediaon.com can register you the .de domain without caring about where you live...

    I think you do need a address to register the domain

    I use godaddy, they provide the address!

    Thanks for the replies. I tried using namecheap with their .de coupon for this month but they asked for a .de address. I think I will just go for godaddy.
