I'm looking for a quality DDoS protection service for my server and I think of having a deal with ddos-guard.net, have you known them?

provide more details about your requirement, or tell us if you are currently receiving some DDOS attacks.
 
Ive never heard of them but another one that I know is good and fairly cheap is CloudFlare. Purchasing the higher end accounts can help quite a bit in migrating ddos
 
Cloudflare is the best free solution.

Their paid plans are good as well. You can also look at the sucuri.net firewall
 
One of our customers is under DDOS on daily basis , we had to move him from DigitalOcean to @CyberHour , athu I don't know if they provide DDOS protection as stand alone service.
 
Do you own the server and just colo it with someone? Or you leasing a server? Either way your up line provider should be able to help
 
Everything depends on your budget, but cloudflare would be enough solution for almost every aim.
 
Do you have dedicated server? What for does it used?
Their service seems to me a bit high, I'd think about finding more cheap offer.
 
Sucuri.net - CloudFlare.Com and Hetzner Hosting all 3 of them will kill your DDOS attack right away. You will have to pay for it but it's not much compared to some of the services you find out there with their insane pricing :)
