So I recently transferred my Shopify store over to Wordpress Woocommerce and decided to host with Namecheap. I am on their Business SSD plan.

Today, we were hit with a DDOS attack and Namecheap has blocked all traffic while the attack takes place. Prior to the attack, my site has been having a lot of downtime because of error 508 - resource limit reached.

I was told to find a DDOS protection service and found Cloudflare but wondering if their $20/month plan is sufficient. $200 a month is quite a stretch for me.

My website gets about 1000 visitors daily.

Any advice is much appreciated.

you can go with free cloudflare ssl since traffic lessthan 2k - try their I am under attack option to safeguard. or you can you can go with $20/m.

Get hosting with ddos protection to avoid extra cost. Check BHW marketplace.

Didn't know that Namecheap doesn't have a proper DDOS protection.
DDOS protection should be included with your hosting plan.
Also seems that the plan you are using don't cover the resource needs .

Cloudflare DDOS protection is ok and will filter basic floods.

Let us know if you need help with this.
