I was nominated by the BlackHat World (UK Team) to take part in the ALS Research Ice Challenge. Brrr. Check out the video, not for the faint hearted!


I nominate Shoemoney, Brian Vance and Brad Grosse.

What is ALS?

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is the umbrella term used in the US to describe motor neurone diseases (MND), as well as the name for the most common disease in this group. ALS can affect a persons ability to move voluntarily without altering thoughts or consciousness. Therefore leaving sufferers feeling as if they are ‘locked in' their bodies. There is no known cure as of yet.

Help create a world without ALS

Way to go DD! Nice to finally put a face with a name. I just got called out myself today, so it looks like I will be getting soaked and donating as well!

Hey hey hey.... is this guy cheating or am I just hallucinating?

It's suppose to be an "ice bucket" challenge. I've done it, my brother's done it, his friends done it..... when all of them did it they used ICE mixed with water.

I did not see as much as 1 icecube fall on the ground. For all we know that water was really 80 degrees ..... :)

Don't talk to me about cold BreaknBrix, It's the UK, it's always cold holiday weekend ;) Plenty of ice in there.

I can vouch for this. I live in Scotland where it would be possible to do the challenge in the middle of summer and they'd be no shortage of ice. In fact, with this being Scotland, there would probably already be ice on the floor before the bucket got tipped.

Darn this Northern UK weather thing we've got going on :)

I only found out about this ice bucket stuff today when my kids where watching it.

Good to see the owner of this site has a sense of humour. Well done DD.
 
this is cool we got to see the owner of ths forum nice to meet u & we waitin for the other guys to accept the challenge
