DC when using social bookmarks?

Can my site get penalised for using the same content to promote one of my url's on lets say 40 bookmarking sites? I use unique content for each of my url's but changing it for each and every bookmarking site would be a pain in the ... Onlywire doesn't allow spintax so I have to figure it out somehow.

Unlikey - for three reasons.

1) Social bookmarking alone is not that powerful a linking strategy - good or bad
2) Many BM's take a snippet from your site anyway. BM's promoting the same content on the same URL's are often very similar
3) 40 is a pretty low number. If you were going for 400 say, then I would look to invest in another tool that allowed spintax, but 40 should be fine.
