Update, we tried the dating-pro script that was recommended and it was absolute rubbish.
Half of the features did not work, and the so called support was non existant.
We are now trying to take advantage of their so called 30 day money back guarantee which is proving to be virtually impossible, as the keep changing the rules and sending us on an email merry go round which I strongly believe are all connected to the same person.
SO in conclusion DATING PRO is a NO NO

Personally I agree with the building your own or at least knowing some php and having a dedicated programmer, you have to be unique. to make it bigger anyways. but personally, i bought a script. none that has been listed yet, and threw a few things in of my own
