Who scrapes with PHP? I'm a massive fan of the language, but it's just not suitable for this purpose. Perhaps Python or C#, but not PHP.

It depends. I think this job is fairly simple. It doesnt need mutil threads or something like that then PHP is my first choice.

Combined with cURL, PHP is extremely good. You can imitate the browser headers also.
