Hello, for the last few month. I've came to decision to create a SaaS app that gives small business owners insight about their spending, revenue, and performance,
I plan to create on bubble.io. I have made a few mock up projects already to warm up. The steps go as followed

1. Upload data or connect Google sheets

Businesses provide spending/revenue data (manual or via sheet/API
Bubble file uploader or google sheets plugin

2. Bubble processes the numbers

Revenue, cost, categories, trends
Bubble workflows, simple math, optional API

3. OpenAi interprets the data

Explains the data like a coach or advisor
OpenAi API (chat completion with prompt)

4. Display insight in a dashboard

Simple charts + natural language tips
Chart.js + Repeating Groups + GPT output\

Do you think this is valid or should I create the automations on my own and use another platform for the website. This also doesn't include SEO portions of the project
Another thing is I don't not have a niche. I need a push in the right direction or someone tell me to scrap the idea entirely

Small businesses do not look favorably on such projects. Because as the name suggests, they are small businesses. The big ones are already producing solutions within themselves. I think it is a completely garbage project..

Saas need to solve some hot problems where people are willing to pay money. Cold call 10-50 business owners and ask if they would use such saas and pay money for this. You can also try and ask online. Its good to validate saas idea asap.

Your idea with buuble.io is valid - you cant be sure at this moment if your saas will be profitable, so cutting development costs is good idea.

Personally i think such insights dont solve any serious small business owners problems. No problems solved = no real value added = no people willing to pay money. But ofc I can be wrong.

Bubble is a good start. Especially now that you've made models.

The important issue here is basically two: your nascent product lacks a target market and there's no clear consumer pain-point as of yet. "Insights" is a far cry from focused. We need to drill down more specifically if we are going to hit the bull's-eye. Fixate on one kind of business–local cafes, say, or internet-based merchants– and resolve one fundamental problem they agonize over (e.g., tracking ad space ROI money vs time spent monthly as below).

Don't kill it off. Just sharpen the edges. Build for a single user persona at first, then expand.
