Darker than BlackHat : What is this method?

I came across some two xxxxxxxx .click sites but they are ranking for many random niches and when you click them you can't see the actual content of the website instead you redirected to some adult CPA.Has anyone cracked this myth.I just want to know.
Note:They barely have any backlinks, one had 16 backlinks which are not even related to the niches they rank for.

Well, I just searched for "autozone near me", and it looks like it is still working just fine

Someone taught me this method long ago. I can't even remember.

Believe me, this is useless. It only works for Semrush, just like Moz DA.

High DA = more clients to fool
High semrush traffic = more clients to fool

When i clicked to one of the url, it redirected me to CPA offers or ads. Every url that i clicked, redirected to ads/offers.
that is heavy indication of using cloaker on their site
probably targeting tons of keywords and see which ones work and stick and rank

So they're not gaming Google, they're gaming SEMRush? And the traffic numbers are fake?

How would they do that? Aren't SEMRush traffic estimates based on SERP rankings?

I think you can spoof keyword volume estimates for obscure keywords with automated traffic, but I think the traffic in these cases was more based on SERP rankings. Are you saying the rankings were somehow faked and the sites weren't actually ranked where SEMRush thought? Or are you saying that they inflated the keyword traffic volumes?

Or maybe they did something else entirely that I didn't think of.

This also indicates to me that they were getting real traffic. Why would you use cloaked redirects to CPA offers otherwise?

easier conversion rate.

instead of: click serp -> click link in LP -> cpa
it goes: click serp -> cpa

one less step and more $$$

He creates many sites which target specific niche and interlink between them, and create something like "enormous topical authority" from his huge network.
I had this question unanswered for months now, I kept looking and searching but all I see is people saying that this is bad and spammy and will only affect your rankings. But real world examples only shows that this strategy works, I tested it with 3 websites in a micro niche and I managed to get the 3 websites in 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in the first page on Google Search outranking really old and authoritative websites.

Well yes you're right of course, but that would assume the SERP clicks were real. Someone else seemed to be saying these were just SEMRush stats, and that the traffic was not real.

I was trying to say, that if the sites weren't getting traffic, there would be no visitors and no reason to use cloaked CPA offers.

yeah, semrush can display any stats they want

im just referring to the cloaking process for ranked sites

I believe the traffic was real. I made a testing by searching directly at the specific kw and the url was there.

Interesting, do the sites still rank?

Yes, still in the same positions for months now. I did some research and I found out that some people do many local websites like .fr .de .es .pt etc.. and do footer backlinks from one to all the others. And they do rank for years now on very high competitive keywords. It's a good strategy I think.

Are the sites interlinked only through footer links or even through posts/pages?

If I understand you correctly, website 1 links to for example 2, 3, 4 & 5 through the footer and website 2 links to for example 1, 3, 4 & 5?

If interlinking is done through posts/pages as well - Do you know if there are any good tools that could automatize this?

Well still some people think seo spo dead or these are just manipulated numbers from semrush ...well this is quite common strategy amount russians

I've seen so many of these weird websites in weird niches, they get knocked down by Google within a few months but make a bunch of money while they run.
Here is a cool example:

What they do is, crawl a shit ton of KWs and copy Google SERPs into their web page. They get to million pages pretty quickly and lose steam as fast.
I wanna be taught how to do this lol! Can this be taught?
