What exactly is the AC Proxy Checker?

I know what AC is and I know what a proxy checker is... What makes this one so special for AC?
 
So websites ban certain proxies. This is a program that tests the proxies against associatedcontent.com. If it hasn't been banned, the proxy works.
 
Hi Danny,

I'm using Vista, and I get an error when I tried to run the proxy checker. Do I need to do something at the command prompt in order run this properly?
 
Which error are you getting? Vista blows ass when it comes to using third party software....

That's half the reason I'm releasing this for free.

When I tried to run the AC Proxy Checker application, the following error occurs:

"Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
 
Do Start> Run

"cmd"

CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

You should get a command prompt window with the words, "ADMIN" or something like that in the title.

Then type in:

regsvr32 filepathtocomdlg32.ocxhere

Obviously replacing filepathtocomdlg32.ocxhere with the actual filepath.

I'm putting the final touches on the Referrer page creator, and once that is done, I'm releasing this to everyone. :)

I'll release a video so you can see how to use it, and how it works.
