Time is such a beautiful thing.

And it?s a pain that most people abuse it.

Everybody?s running around like Chickens with their heads cut off.

Running your day to day life like this isn?t only unproductive and unprofitable, it?s also DANGEROUS!

    Case in point:

A while ago, a popular Copywriter that worked for Y & R Agency sent out this Tweet:

?30 Hours of working and still going strooong.?

    Soon afterward she collapsed.

    The next day she died.

It?s very sad that it happened and it?s a problem I see way too many people giving in to.

I like what one guy said about this: ?We?re not curing cancer here, it?s just Advertising.?

Think about that for a minute or five.

Now this girl has pulled MANY all-niter?s based on all her tweets, and had consumed vast amounts of energy drinks?

So balance is definitely something to consider here.

But please, don?t sacrifice your health for this business.

    It?s just not necessary.

This is a ?lifestyle business? after all.

    Work smart and work hard.

    But don?t over do it.

This is one BIG reason I love the way I run my business

Something happens when you are earning $1,000 to $9,000 per customer.

    You get to slow down.

    You get to serve people.

You don?t have to rush off to chase the next sale.

You don?t have to kill yourself everyday trying to make this business work.

If a business like this sounds awesome to you, I urge you to start a website business today and start to change things around for the better.

Well said. Sometimes we get wrapped up in the craziness thinking that everything has to be completed in one month to start generating x-amount of a dollars or leads. Make SMART goals and stick to them and make sure you focus on the "realistic" part.

Very true. People who work their asses off for big cooperations and companies are nothing more but slaves. Even if you do it for your own business you are a slave! I don't think Pablo Escobar gave a fuck about his work ethic. He just made that money.

That is very true. I totally agree. After all, money is just papers. Don't get me wrong, I love having a lot of money (who doesn't, right?) but it just does not mean shit when you are not alive.

When I graduated highschool I was using speed (meth) 5-10 times a day. I'd go to school 4-6 hours day then work 12 hour days (2 jobs). But I always made sure I had a "crash" day. Those crash days were just shorter days. I'd go to school, work 6 hours, then work out. And even though I was using speed basically everyday I always forced myself to DRINK and EAT as much as I could tolerate.

That's the main issue with stimulants. With caffiene the effect is nowhere as potent. But since they put "calming agents" in these drinks, like taurine and inositol, you don't actually feel what the stimulants are doing to your body. So you drink more and more Red Bull, which = more and more sugar & caffiene, which means your electrolytes plummet.

This is why people are given IV's at hospitals. Just drinking too much water can wash the electrolytes out of your body and cause cardiac arrest. And this is probably why this girl died. She looked skinny as f#ck, had no meat on her body, which means the body can't break down fat or muscle when it's "starving".

So I don't blame overwork, I blame the girl. This shit goes on all over the world. In Thailand, India, China, etc CEO's / business owners are known to give their employees "yabba" or other stimulants, people eat this shit like candy, don't eat or drink, work long hours, their electrolytes plummet, the heart loses it's signal, starts to palpitate than seize.

A doctor might tell you "stress kills" but what they won't tell you is "stupidity kills 10,000Xs more people".

Its not the overwork or lack of sleep that kills you.
Your body wil shut down before you do any serious damage.

That is, if your not taking speed and supplements.
Which are telling your brain, your body is ok,
When obviously it couldnt be. if you havent slept in 30 hours

I drank red bull for months and realized it was counterproductive. I did not like the risks associate with it nor the idea of kidneys stones.

BreakinBrix had a badass post there- totally agree with the hypothesis on the girl's cause of death.

A good friend of mine I know personally died 2 weeks ago. He was into SEO and web design. A hard worker, doing great, his own business and everything. Worked all day. Died in his sleep. He was 21. Made me rethink a few things.

Bookmarked for best sale letter I've ever read, every word, ever CAP in purpose! the clean and separated paragraphs, even laziest one is able to read the whole.

I wish I could have a writing talent skill like this, so that I can write a perfect sale page, I can explain things in simple manner, to convince people something work or not.

    It's beautiful

Just make sure to have a hobbie that you can turn to when you are feeling burnt out, that is the key. If you can make money off that hobby even better :)

Life/work balance is a bitch at time, too much work will destroy your life, seen it so, so many times before, divorce, physical and mental issues are extremely common to workaholics

Is hard to see inside every person to know, when is good enough?

Every human being needs to decide what is worthy and what's not worthy at all. Do you guys remember that phrase "Get rich or die trying" ? Are we trying to make a living? Are we trying to be able to buy more things?. The people need to know what they want, and even if this sounds crazy, we must respect if they prefer die trying to reach what they want.

I want to do a lot of things, but my health goes first. But this is just mi opinion.

From 20 hours per day on internet working with websites when I was 17, I got to 1 or 2 hours per day today, after 3 years.

It just take a day or two when I'm setting up new website, and after that, sweet autopilot. (90% autopilot)

heh, i agree about staying healthy, but starting a website business? hell no!

when i was in that business i was constantly stressed out by pushy clients who made up for their lack of knowledge with extreme rudeness. in fact, the last client i had tried to tack on about $1500 worth of work before they payed me for what i had already been owed. i also had one client refuse to pay me because he accused me of "copying his website" when he had asked me to build a branded mobile site! of course it looks like your damned site, that's how branding works...

i guess i just don't have any patience left, there's no way i would build websites for anyone at this point

OP's thread is totally beautiful, I got me every single line he wrote, i wish I could have that talent explaining things in a simple manner, I can write my best sale letters without selling anything and can speak to people and to motivate them.

I should have this copy and note somewhere just in case
