he probably just had 2 tabs open on two different monitors (dual monitor setup)

i do that a lot when entering data from my accounts to a spreadsheet, or like in this example to compare two different sets of time

Well not sure how you think dual screens can submit two separate queries to Google, have Google process the queries and get both results back in the same second but I suppose if you try a couple million times you might get the time to match to the exact second.

I suspect the majority consensus here is closer to what really happened.
