Damage your Competitors

I dont think I would go as far to damage my competitors but there is a certain online auto parts store that I wouldn't mind screwing over. They sent me the wrong fenders for my car and wouldn't give me my money back. So if anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them.

I'm going to add my 2 cents here and see what your guys' thoughts are.

What if....

You signed up for an account with the same hosting company as your competitor, and then requested/bought a static IP in the same block as your competitor, preferably a +/- in the host octet, Example:

Competitors IP: 216.87.34.131
Your requested IP: 216.87.34.231

After you've managed to grab an IP in the same class as your competitor, write a few scripts to go out and spam the crap out of various known Google domains with 'one-off' keywords relating to your/competitors niche (IE* your niche is "used cars" your one-off spamming keywords are "used cars porn", etc)

After a while Google sees your spamming efforts and references your similar niches/keywords with you and your competitors IP's and determines you and your competitor are the same person, therefore punishing "you" (your comp) for spam. Maybe throw some dupe content or mirror some of your comps pages to add to the chaos.

Just an idea...its been a late night though so I may be talking out of my ass... if having mulitple (auto)blogs on the same IP block can hurt you I don't see how this wouldn't work to some degree.

What are your thoughts? :D

I've gotta try that LOL

Also I've thought...

What about creating a sitemap index file that references your competitors sitemap... sure its not valid and won't do anything period but it has to have some bearing on tying your spam site to your competitors site.

Another thing is what if on top of all the other things you're doing to destroy your comp's site, what if on top of all that you used a redirect from your site to your comp's just for good measure. I feel like this HAS to have some sort of negative effect?

to mainstream sites and sites that have mass content using prstorm on them is only going to help, if you do it on a site that isnt well established then i assume it could hurt there pr rank/ban them.

We all talk about the risk of using Black Hat tools like prstrom, etc

Can we not use them to kill our competitors rankings?

I just hope you're not planning to bowl me out of page 1 for the many terms I rank on google and other search engines... relating to the AllXClub (onoine porn business) opportunity

You're the 2nd BHW member that signed to allxclub through an outside source even though I've had (and still do) have a nice thread and following from this forum... the only reason it baffles me is that we would be dominating page one together as opposed to competing for the top spot :)

I have to admit...this thread is really interesting, because you can find more threads how this hurts you, that hurts you, I got banned for this , etc.....thousands of them.

But the opposite question is asked...and a large silence. I would have thought a ton of black hatters would have been all over this subject. Hope it picks up steam, this is useful information.

if nothing seems to hurt your competitors how can you hurt yourself using all the black hat tools?

no you can't damage a site unless they are very new and they must not have any authority in ranking.

its nearly impossible to do this now, because of the changes they make in algo. also if you link competitors site to link farm, you need to hack into your competitor's server and link to all of those links farms...good luck with that.

it seems like you can use prstorm, xrumer or whatever you want, because so far its improving the rankings not damaging them. just my observation.
100% true. Google stopped de-indexing sites due to link farms a long time ago....so if you're Xrumering your competitors you're most likely helping them, not hurting.

This sort of thing has cropped up here before... in reality, one should just spend time building up your own campaign instead of destroying other people's hard work - if you were to get enough people on this bandwagon... Ask yourself this:
would your own site not become a target?

wow, I have found a new niche, its seems there is a huge market.

I guess I need to start my "Damage-The-Competitor" service soon

btw, any of you remember the "blackhatworld rocks" SEO competition? the winner was blackhatworldrocks.com and I was 2nd, can you tell me how the winning site disappeared on the SERP and my site remained 1st up to now?...was that clue? lol

Just register some domains with their info and prepaid credit cards. Setup a ton of really bad doorway pages and splogs and there you go. Seems pretty simple to me. Of course I think it is not really black hat. I think it is something that if you are found out it will ruin you in the online marketing world. Plus that doesn't do anything but show you that you can't rank a page without beating someone at the game we are all trying to perfect. Much less put you at huge risk for slander suits and other civil suits you probably don't have to money pay.

you could actually help them if they are established.

Well my question is; What do you do to stop this from happening to your site?

Give me a test, list a competitor here with their search term and google result url

I cant reply to all your posts , but i will pick one to fkup

I had someone post a comment on my blog that was a racial slur against the president. I deleted it as soon as I saw it but my site is deindexed.
Besides that could you not leave a comment on your competitor's site and have a link to a link farm instead of your site in your comment? Then wouldn't your competitor be linking to a link farm?

Buy some links to your competitor's site and then report the site to Google for using paid links.

PRstorm is old news and doesnt do a whole lot now. Xrumer would be a better tool...place it on a server, put your competitors address, and run it for a month or 2 (dependant upon how established you competitor is)

This wont get them banned, but Google will sandbox them.
