They have paid you thousands before, don’t worry they will pay.
 
When the previous 5 amounts add up to half that amount, that's a huge increase, so obviously raised flags. Moreso when the amounts after all added upto $5k in total.

So what did you do different that one month?
 
what you do next depends on the content you used to upload. if its copyrighted content then it will get more troublesome if you want to do something about it

Is your uploaded contents copyrighted? The sudden raise definitely caused problem. They probably decide to ban your account in best moment and seize the funds
Try to contact them on any email or phone number you find on their website.

If they make no response then you can contact a collecting agency. The agency get 20-30% of money after collecting it.

i think there warning you that paypal is refusing the cash ask them .

they will pay you but paypal acting up.

phone them directly , you got no worries they no of you.
 
Any amount above 5k won't be paid via PayPal, did you enter your bank details there.

Let's assume it's not copyright you have not brought views then go ahead take legal action, search for a France based lawyer or agency and have a legal notice drafted that should suffice, however I do t think they're scammers .

As i know, if you take a legal action, probably they will suspend your account. Not cool solution. Maybe try to call their accounting department?
