Do you think people would be interested in a service where they can get x amount of unique articles written and then posted to their site by the writer on a daily/weekly/monthly service.

From what I understand Google enjoy sites that are frequently updated, and it would allow you to say I want 5 articles posted today, 2 tomorrow, 15 spread over next week or whatever.

    Ideas?

People would be interested in such a service. The problem that I see is that people who would be interested in such a service would want quality content. If often takes a personal relationship to find quality writers. So long as you are able to provide both quality and a working relationship with your customers, you should be able to do well.

Best of luck if you venture into this.

I maintain a good working relationship will all of my clients. The only problem is most of the work comes in in one blast. Say, at the start of the month they want 100 articles, I write them and then bam, have to go to find work to do for the rest of the month.

I've some OK contracts going on oDesk, but ones just finished is one article + spin syntax per day.

It's something I'll look in to and I understand quality.

This is an interesting idea - but how would delivery work?

I am thinking that if I used something like this, I would want you to add the content to the site themselves whithout my intervention, because if you are just going to deliver via email - well for the client, it's probably easier to receive 30 articles once per month and program them to go live once per day.

Actually signing into the CMS as a user and adding / formatting the content yourselves would make the time involved a little higher, but make the service more valuable.

This would also be more useful to clients who need articles that reflect current events (news, celebrity or entertainment type sites, for example)

Yes that's what I meant in the OP.

I'd actually sign in and put the content on the site for them.
I suppose the only problem then is they don't get to check it before its posted (Although if you provide them with quality from the start they should trust you with this.)

I'll probably give it a shot when all my current work ends.
