No. Not at all... it sounds like a clever way of getting traffic stats from somebody else's forum... That has lots of possible uses, but may raise a number of liabilities by forcefully violating privacy policies of a website to gather CI/BI data.
It sounds like a neat trick to install analytics on someone else's webpages without their permission.
From the sound of it I don't think there is much SEO value or value in the traffic. But without knowing the details I can't know for sure.
My challenge to you would be to make some money with it. If it can't make money then you know its value.

First of all, if you're loading a full page with all javascript, your bounce rate is going to be through the roof, especially if you're doing this on a thread with 10,000 views like you said. Why you would want this, I don't know.
However, it may be useful as a free form of bulk, country-targeted traffic. You could do it on a forum where users are primarily US, UK, etc. So I guess there's some use in it if you're looking for bulk traffic.
And it has the potential to help your Alexa, on par with bulk traffic.
However, this doesn't seem like it will be pushing you up the SERPs in a hurry.

could this be used to monetize with sites like linkbucks and such ? : )...you would only need to create 20 forum accounts per day then reply to random post.. and voila, instant cash$$$
Yeah i thought doing so, but linkbucks and adfly before counting a visit u must click on the skip ad button i guess.
Stil trying to figure out a way to monetize it.
