DA PA TF CF Are Dead !

3rd party metrics are only good for initial domain/website filtering, thats it. People are looking at those like they actually gave ranking power to the website which is bullshit.

Feel like I should be quoted there. :)

Anyway, metrics have their uses. If you believe that metrics have precise correlation with your Serp position, then booooooi, no. It's not something you should ever be focused on when it comes to your money site. I can spam my site with shittons of crappy links, boost its DA, then spam it with high TF blog comments, boost it TF and will it help me? Nope.

Remember the good old long gone Pagerank? Pretty much the same, a nice indicator, helpful, but irrelevant in terms of ranking. Most high ranking sites had a nice PR, but they didn't rank because of their PR, correlation but no causation. I mean, when buying a car, do you buy it by HP only? More HP = better car? No you havbe a look what brand, color, milage, general condition and loads of other stuff. It's the same with domains or links, metrics are handy, but you have to look at the whole picture, not just one or two "magical" numbers.

There's nothing solid that can point out that a site with marginal DA/PA/TF/CF would rank highly for a specific keyword. Even if your site is PR5-6, it doesn't mean it will rank #1 for a particular hard keyword either - they just do not really correlate that well.
But these metrics can be used as a determining factor, to determine your site's overall quality as a whole, and it gives an upper overview on the link quality that your site is enjoying.
Generally, a TF<20 site do not really command that much of an authority, but a site with TF>30-40 will definitely show much better progress instead - you can consider these are PR3-4 sites. TF>50 would be a very good authority site IMO, but like mentioned earlier, these PR, TF or any metrics do not correlate with superior ranking for a specific keyword, as ranking is also dependent on the link profile and other signals as well, which is determined by the algorithm - there are over 500 metrics being used these days!

Can we please stop dying things? DA PA TF CF aren't dead, they simply never meant anything other than what they meant which isn't what most people think it means.

Ranks depends on more than just your backlinks. Google looks for quality - one important metric is time spent on page by user. Hard to fake.

ranking factors of today are: content, on-page issues, correct usage of primary and related keywords, page speed

as for da and pa I'd check your competitors' backlinks and on which pages they are placed (is there relevant content? do backlinks have text around it? what does a website look like?)

Drop of rankings happens sometimes, it depends on many factors

this thread actually giving us the signal of thinking may be he is just curious to know may be he can be wrong but he has valid point, however it is thinkable debate companies like moz majestic ahrefs taking huge amount to get premium accounts and what is the result?

Hey Guys.

After PR death now it's the death of DA PA CF TF . I DON'T think they have factor to ranking in google these days . my websites have good DA PA CF TF and better than my competitors and they don't ranking even in page 2 in google . Are you also facing the same issue ? can someone explain the new factors to ranking iin google these days ??
These we're never values to really hundred percent go by there all from third parties it's not what Google has Google has all the links versus all the competitors and all these is a third-party tools only have a fraction of the links so it's just to get a good idea in comparison comparison but it does not matter you could literally block all the Crawlers from these sites and you would show up with trust flow 0 and you would you could still be ranking number one

Exactly, just gimmicks invented when PR went out the window. Turnips taking tards for a ride with their useless bullshit.

The theory of PR was based on links which still works as links are the primary ranking factors in google.
PR, DA/PA all other metric just help to valuate the link not help to rank i don't understand why people take this as ranking factor :confused:

You’ve either got a penalty from buying too many cheap backlinks or you’ve got the sandbox conundrum.

But saying that.
I’ve got a site with very low pa,da, tf and cf ratio is very bad and it’s ranking 1st position for multiple keywords.

Don’t underestimate the power of social signals.

Social signals, site load speed, bounce rate, all factors that effect SERPs, none of which third party vendors can measure.

Those third part websites don't check content of website

This is very interesting, would love to hear what people have to say
