I got a fitness blog, and have added enough contents and did quite good link building for the site. But, the Domain Authority isn't increasing...Site Age- 5 Months....DA - 8.How to increase it???

Just a quick tip - don't be obsessed about DA. It does not show anything special but a MOZ metric. It could be manipulated as usual.

As for your question. DA depends on the MOZ's crawlers. OSE refreshes once per month or so and doesn't crawl every site/URL out there (MOZ crawlers are way behind ahrefs and majestics crawlers). Thus it cannot find all your links out there - because of that it cannot change your DA.

Here are the few steps to increase your DA.

1.Ensure that your technical SEO is in place.
2.Create lots of linkable content
3.Develop strong internal linking
4.Regularly remove toxic backlinks

Read the Moz metrics page. DA and PA are not updated very frequently and even when something is found it does not appear until the next update.

DA and PA are a poor mans PR, all of which is bullshit. I cannot understand why people care about it.

Make internal content link to your site that redirects to your site. Remove the broken links. The DA increases suddenly one day but not immediately because it is not updated frequently.

blast your site with gsa links and see your da going up in a short span of time if Da is all you care about.

yup can confirm a direct kitchen sink blast with GSA SER will sort your DA fast.

It can go really high too, I ran a test on a junk domain and got 3 months DA up to I think 32 before it got blacklisted / junked forever.

Blast the shit out of it using GSA and see the DA skyrocket.

P.S: The rankings might tank though. And TF/CF are better than DA/PA

Forget about DA, focus on getting traffic.

DA doesn't matter if you're getting good traffic on your site :) Don't be obsessed with useless things like DA, PR etc ;) If everything is as good as you say, your DA will increase soon enough; no need to worry about it. :)

Make internal content link to your site that redirects to your site..

What does that mean? Does it mean a link on this thread [which holds the content] has a URL which links to blackhatworld.com[homepage]?

Moz might not have found your links.

My site is like 6 months old and moz has not found any links.

So shitty lol

Same here it's useless. Some of them are from big sites too.
