Do they require a W9 before paying you? If not, how do they know that you are not some scammer? How do they verify your info with the IRS? Do they even care?

I don't remember them requiring a W9.

I think what it may have been was an online form where you typed your name saying that you agree to their rules and regulations. I've been paid twice by them, and haven't mailed anything into them, that's all I know.

Sorry, another thing I forgot to mention was that when I was paid by them, the check they paid me with came from Chase online bill pay. I'm not sure that this has anything to do with whether they verify your information with the IRS, but just thought any information may help.

You do not need a W9 because they are located in Canada.
